History
- In 1921 Nedinsco was founded by Carl Zeiss Jena and has been involved in developing high-quality optical, mechanical and electronic systems ever since.
- In 1953 the company became fully independent, a status it still retains today.
- In 1989 the Berlin Wall fell and Defence orders, on which Nedinsco had been particularly dependent, decreased sharply. In the years that followed, Nedinsco successfully made the transition to the civil high-tech markets.
- In 2007 the company moved to new state-of-the-art premises in preparation for the future and further expansion.
